                    This SD-WAN lab practical will show you how to configure Feature Templates for OSPF for VPN0. You can practice along with this practical using our SD-WAN virtual lab.

1. Configure a System Template to be used by vSmart with the following parameters
● Template Name: vSmart-System
● Description: vSmart-System- Description
✓ Site ID->Device Specific
✓ System IP-> Device Specific
✓ Hostname-> Device Specific
✓ Timezone-> Default
2. Configure a VPN Template for VPN0 to be used by vSmart with the following parameters
● Template Name: vSmart-VPN-VPN0
● Description: vSmart-VPN-VPN0-Description
● Basic Configuration
✓ VPN0-> Global: VPN0
✓ Name-> Global: Transport VPN IPv4 Route
✓ Prefix-> Global: 0.0.0.0/0
✓ Next Hop->Global: 200.1.1.1
3. Configure a VPN Interface Template for VPN0 for interface Eth1 to be used by vSmart with the following parameters
● Template Name: vSmart-VPNINT-VPN0-E1
● Description: vSmart-VPNINT-VPN0-E1-Description
● Basic Configuration
✓ Shutdown-> Global: No
✓ Interface Name-> Global: Eth1
✓ IPv4 Address-> Static-> Device Specific
● Tunnel
✓ Tunnel Interface-> Global: On
✓ Color-> Default
✓ Allow Service
✓ All-> Global: On
✓ NETCONF-> Global: On
✓ SSH-> Global: On
4. Configure a VPN Template for VPN512 to be used by vSmart with the following parameters
● Template Name: vSmart-VPN-VPN512
● Description: vSmart-VPN-VPN512-Description
● Basic Configuration
✓ VPN0-> Global: VPN512
✓ Name-> Global: MGMT VPN
5. Configure a VPN Interface Template for VPN512 for interface Eth0 to be used by vSmart with the following parameters
● Template Name: vSmart-VPNINT-VPN512-E0
● Description: vSmart-VPNINT-VPN512-E0-Description
● Basic Configuration
✓ Shutdown-> Global: No
✓ Interface Name-> Global: Eth0
✓ IPv4 Address-> Static-> Device Specific

Configure a System Template to be used by vSmart with the following parameters This is the path to create the Template Setting>Configuration >Templates >Feature >vSmart >Basic Information>System

Click on Add Template then select vSmart>BASIC INFORMATION and click on “System”

Fill the parameters- Template Name: vSmart-System Description: vSmart-System- Description

Site ID->Device Specific System IP-> Device Specific Hostname-> Device Specific Timezone-> Default. then click on Save to continue

Here vSmart System Template is created.

Configure a VPN Template for VPN0 to be used by vSmart with the following parameters This is the path to create the Template Setting>Configuration >Templates >Feature >vSmart >VPN >VPN

Click on Add Template then select vSmart and select VPN

Fill the parameters as given in task- Template Name: vSmart-VPN-VPN0 Description: vSmart-VPN-VPN0-Description

Fill the Basic Configuration details as given- VPN0-> Global: VPN0 Name-> Global: Transport VPN IPv4 Route

Select IPv4 Route and click on New IPv4 Route and fill the prefix details as given-Prefix-> Global: 0.0.0.0/0 then click on Add New Hop

Click on Add New Hop

Enter new hop address-Next Hop->Global: 200.1.1.1 then click on Add

Click on update to continue

Here our vSmart VPN0 template is created

Configure a VPN Interface Template for VPN0 for interface Eth1 to be used by vSmart with the following parameters This is the path to create the Template Setting>Configuration >Templates >Feature >vSmart >VPN >VPN Interface Ethernet

Click on Add Template then select vSmart and select VPN Interface Ethernet

Fill the details as given- Template Name: vSmart-VPNINT-VPN0-E1 Description: vSmart-VPNINT-VPN0-E1-Description

Fill the Basic Configuration details- Shutdown-> Global: No Interface Name-> Global: Eth1 IPv4 Address-> Static-> Device Specific

Now click on Tunnel and fill the parameters- Tunnel Interface-> Global: On Color-> Default

Select Allow Service and fill the parameters- All-> Global: On NETCONF-> Global: On SSH-> Global: On. click on Save to continue

Here our vSmart VPN0 Template is created for Interface E1.

Configure a VPN Template for VPN512 to be used by vSmart with the following parameters This is the path to create the Template Setting>Configuration >Templates >Feature >vSmart >VPN >VPN

Click on Add Device then select vSmart and click on VPN

Fill the details which are given in the task- Template Name: vSmart-VPN-VPN512 Description: vSmart-VPN-VPN512-Description

Now fill the Basic Configuration as given in task- VPN0-> Global: VPN512 Name-> Global: MGMT VPN
Click on Save to continue

Here our vSmart VPN512 Template is created as we can see.

Configure a VPN Interface Template for VPN512 for interface Eth0 to be used by vSmart with the following parameters this is the path to create the Template Setting>Configuration >Templates >Feature >vSmart >VPN >VPN Interface Ethernet

Click on Add Template and then select vSmart then select VPN Interface Ethernet

Fill the details as given- Template Name: vSmart-VPNINT-VPN512-E0 Description: vSmart-VPNINT-VPN512-E0-Description

Fill the Basic Configuration as given in task- Shutdown-> Global: No Interface Name-> Global: Eth0 IPv4 Address-> Static-> Device Specific then click on Save to continue

Here we are able to see our vSmart VPN512 Template is created for Interface E1.S
